Representing more than 23,000 professional fire fighters across eight provinces and two territories, IAFF is a strong, unified voice to advance the profession and advocate for fire fighters’ safety and rights on Parliament Hill. The IAFF represents full-time, paid employees engaged in fire fighting, emergency medical or rescue service activities. Active membership in the IAFF through its chartered locals, state or provincial associations, and joint councils.
